Social media package for the Shared Spaces Foundation's fundraiser for the Heron's Nest: The Shared Spaces Foundation requested help from the Seattle Shapers with crafting compelling messaging and social media posts to grow community awareness of and solicit donations to the Heron's Nest--a parcel of land in West Seattle they are leasing with the hopes that they can purchase it, develop community spaces, and gift it to the Duwamish Tribe. The first step in that process was developing key messaging to market the project to regional stakeholders. I wrote a blog post that the Seattle Shapers used in our outreach that summarized the project and captured key messaging. The following are a few examples of messaging, graphics, and copy I developed that the organization used in its social media.
In a time where our city is reckoning with white supremacy, I felt that the most compelling aspect of the project is that it would deliver unceded land back to the host nation of Seattle. I developed a few graphics to communicate that significance.
Because land acknowledgments have become so popular among potential regional stakeholders, I wanted to create messaging that encourages those stakeholders to put those words of acknowledgment into action.
In this graphic, I emphasized the movement of acknowledgment to action with the heron's movement. I also highlighted land back as a nod and reference to the landback movements.
Social Media Package for Global Shaper's #Blood4All campaign: The Seattle Hub of Global Shapers partnered with hubs in other cities on the #Blood4All campaign to normalize blood donation among young people and address the worldwide blood shortage. Here in Seattle, we partnered with Peddler Brewing to host a blood donation event with Bloodworks NW. We wanted to persuade people in our city to come out and donate so I came up with the following graphics and copy to persuade people to donate to support various vulnerable communities. After we posted these graphics on our social media channels, 77 people registered to attend the blood drive.

Seattle Shapers' Social Media: As the Digital Communications Lead for Globals Shapers (Seattle Hub), I produced content to support the organization's various projects and communicate our impact. Here is a sample of graphics I created.
I often created quick graphics such as this to solicit survey responses to support problem scoping for different projects.
For the Seattle Shapers' podcast, Shaping Seattle, I customized the thumbnail for each episode so our transcripts on our Medium page have varied images.
